A workshop on energy efficiency for SMEs in textile and apparel industry was held in Zagreb on 24 May 2016 as a part of the SET activities.

The aim of the workshop was to familiarise the SMEs with the possibilities offered by the SET project and its self-assessment tool for energy efficiency. The SMEs coudl learn how to use the SET tool, how to prepare and save the requested data regarding energy consumption and production and how to analyze the data and interpret the results.

SET – self assesment tool enables companies to be aware of their proper consumption, best practices and potential improvements in energy consumption. It as well shows their position in comparison to other companies within the same industrial activity. SET tool allows better planning of possible investments in energy efficiency.

Workshop was organised for the members of Croatian Employers' Association - Galeb, Čateks, Regeneracija, Jadran tvornica čarapa.

Experts of ENEA institute gave presentations how to use the SET tool and gave instructions to the companies on the spot that met with the SET tool for the first time and analysed the data together.

Also, on the 24th and 25th of May 2016, ENEA experts paid their visit to the companies Jadran tvornica čarapa d.o.o. from Zagreb and Čateks d.d. from Čakovec.
