The Hungarian Society of Textile Technology and Science (TMTE) organized a conference in frame of the SET project on May 12, 2016. The successful event attracted 44 interested visitors.


Mr. Rudolf Szabó, SET project expert in Hungary and Mrs. Gabriella Ecker SET project coordinator in Hungary introduced the SET project in their common lecture, emphasizing the importance of energy efficiency in the textile industry and the role of a simple information technology tool in the conscious energy consumption.


Two Hungarian textile companies, taking part in the SET project, introduced their results and experiences. Mrs. Dóra Milovszky Südi technical controller of Albertfalvai Cérnázó Kft. and Mr. Lajos Krámer plant manager of Orsó ’95 Kft. gave lectures about this subject.


Mr. Bertram Rollman, CEO of the Bulgarian clothing factory Prin-Tex, presented the possibilities and results of energy savings on the example of his own company which is a clothing factory employing 3600 people. He introduced the actions that have resulted in significant savings and emphasized how taking over of methods developed in the frame of SESEC and SET have helped their work.
