Seminar and training session ‘Energy Efficiency Saving in the Lithuanian Clothing Sector‘ was organised by the Lithuanian Apparel and Textile Industry Association within the framework of Energy Made-to-Measure campaign on 18 June 2014 in Lithuania.
SESEC project partners from EURATEX and CITEVE joined the event. 16 representatives from 11 Lithuanian clothing and textile companies were participated in the first ever event on this particular topic. Mauro Scalia from EURATEX made general introduction to the Energy Efficiency in the Textile & Clothing Industry as well as presented project SESEC for the participating companies. The first part of the meeting was also aimed to introduce national support measures and tools available for Lithuanian SMEs in energy efficiency field.
Afternoon session was dedicated to training how to use EDST, EMBT and SAT tools that are also available in Lithuanian. The training was well appreciated by the participating companies.
