eBIZ 4.0 at IT4Fashion

Fashion and digital are two words that usually attract different types of professionals but that combine very much; the IT4Fashion event has understood that equation and is boosting this new trend.


Last 19-20 April, the seventh edition took place in Florence. Event report - Annual ETP Conference 2017

More than 170 members of the European Textile Technology Platform and other stakeholders gathered on 30-31 March in Brussels at the 12th Textile ETP Annual Conference for an overview on on-going European collaborative research in textile and clothing and to discuss with EU policy makers the needs and opportunities for future EU support.

From industrial production to provider of textile solutions

The textiles industry is still in the midst of a period of major transition. Swiss Textiles, the textiles and clothing industry federation, presented the 2016 figures for the industry at its annual press conference in St. Gallen. The decline in industrial production is to a certain extent attributable to the fact that the sector has become internationalised and specialised, and is now increasingly providing textile solutions for new areas of application.
