6 November 2025 – EURATEX has co-signed a joint statement with major European and international business organisations — including amfori, DIGITALEUROPE, EuroCommerce, FoodDrinkEurope, and others — calling on EU policymakers to ensure legal certainty and simplification in the finalisation of the Omnibus I package.
The statement supports the European Parliament’s compromise proposal on the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D), highlighting the importance of a risk-based approach that promotes meaningful impact over administrative burden.
The signatories encourage EU institutions to secure a stable agreement and ensure effective implementation, enabling businesses to operate responsibly within a predictable regulatory framework.
