Project legacy
Although the project officially ended in December 2025, its legacy lies in several key achievements:
- The ecosystem it helped build:
– SMEs gained visibility and credibility, supported by tailored storytelling and promotional materials;
– Regional hubs strengthened their role as multipliers of circularity, embedding best practices into local strategies.
2. Platforms:
– The legacy landing page (https://regiogreentex.eu/), available until the end of 2026 – provides a comprehensive list of over 100 features and tools developed by project partners, accessible via a dedicated menu;
– The Circular Garment (https://www.thecirculargarment.eu/) – the website provides a structured narrative of the garment’s journey, from recycled fibers to finished product, and highlights the collaboration of SMEs, research centers, and regional hubs across Europe;
– The RGT Stories – a visual heritage of each partner, highlighting the innovations developed throughout the project and the pathway towards sustainability.
Overall, RegioGreenTex leaves behind a clear message: circularity is not a distant goal, it is a reality shaped by cooperation, creativity, and interregional initiatives. This legacy will serve as a foundation for future projects, ensuring that Europe remains at the forefront of sustainable textile innovation.
