EURATEX calls to make industry a priority for the EU’s future

As part of the Industry4Europe coalition, EURATEX joined a call addressing the candidates for the 2019 European Elections.

EURATEX joins the European business call for swift ratification of the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement

EURATEX joins 27 European business organisations in reiterating its support to the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement and calls on the European Parliament for a swift ratification process, following the signature of the agreement on 17 July 2018. 

 The Textile and Clothing sector accounts for almost 4% of the EU exports in goods to Japan, with nearly 1.9 billion€ in 2017, mainly garments and technical textiles.
